    THE HIGH PRIESTESS

Inner awareness experiences reveal hidden esoteric knowledge which is why the High Priestess is mostly covered in this card.  We see the spiral representing central qi upon the scroll of the High Priestess.  It subtly points to acupoint Wei Yin between the legs.  In Spiral Qigong this acupoint will naturally begin contracting as the practitioner's body adjusts to allow a greater influx of high frequency energies to come into the body.   Acting as an energetic pump Wei Yin also helps remove low density energies from the body.  As the body lightens up, greater intuition and dreaming is the natural result.

The upward turned crescent moon at the feet of the High Priestess is associated with the cup like lower dan tian in the abdomen.  The moon is the celestial treasure of this physical vitality storage center according to qigong theory.
